Tryouts

Tryouts will be held on March 24 and 27 at Wildwood Catholic Academy.

• Specific evening tryout times will be announced via TeamSnap.

Practices

• Mondays and Thursdays, starting March 31, at Wildwood Catholic Academy.

• Occasional Sunday practices may be added as needed.

• Specific evening practice times will be communicated via TeamSnap.

Tournaments

• Teams will play 3-4 games per tournament, typically held on Saturdays and Sundays. Some tournaments may offer one-day or extended options.

• The tournament schedule will be updated ASAP via TeamSnap, with the season expected to conclude on or before June 30, 2025.

• Game times are usually posted on tournament websites by Thursday afternoons, though some events are more punctual than others. Flexibility is key, as game times and opponents may change.

• Links to game times will be shared via TeamSnap as soon as they become available.

• One of our teams may enter a different tournament to ensure the best possible competition. We plan to participate in four tournaments.

• Register for TeamSnap, where all practice dates, times, and announcements will be communicated.

Costs

• Tryout Fee: $30

• 5th/6th Grade Participation Fee: $375

• 7th/8th Grade Participation Fee: $375

• Parents will be required to order uniforms online—our Team Store link will be provided after tryouts, uniforms, if needed, must be ordered by March 30.

• Payments can be made via check (payable to Magic Sports) or Venmo (available upon request).

What You Need to Do Now

• If you haven’t registered yet: 

  • Register and pay the tryout fee online at www.tarheelsnj.com by March 15, 2025.

• If you have already registered: 

  • Follow the schedule and announcements on TeamSnap.
